I purchased this Santa suit for our neighborhood holiday party, and it mostly delivered on its promise. The quality is decent for the price. The velvet-like fabric of the jacket and pants is surprisingly soft and has a good weight to it, avoiding that cheap, flimsy feel. The attached white fur trim is full and doesn’t shed excessively, which was a major concern of mine. The belt buckle is a sturdy plastic that looks convincingly metallic from a few feet away.
Where it loses a star is in the fit and a few finishing details. I followed the size chart carefully, but the pants ran quite long—I needed a good hemming job to avoid tripping. The hat is also a bit small; it fits, but just barely
